Kamenoko Tawashi

Since 1907, the production of Kamenoko Tawashi products have remained unchanged and are produced in the same manner that and is still made the same way since its creation by Mr. Nishio Shouzaemon in Tokyo, Japan by using the same raw materials of woven palm fibers.

These durable biodegradable brushes have become a Japanese household staple and is used for cleaning everything from cutting boards, dishes, pots, and pans. Another common use of the brushes is to clean the skin of fresh vegetables such as carrots, radishes, potatoes, etc. There are also softer brushes that can be used as body bath brushes.

Kamenoko means small-turtle and Tawashi means scrubber in Japanese. The name is in reference to its shape, and its connection to water and longevity. For over 100 years, Kamenoko has been committed to making high-quality brushes which have become the industry standard in cleaning products.
